2023 Classroom & School Grants Awarded
Thousands of students across Clovis Unified School District – from preschoolers to high school seniors – will be engaging in educational and emotional wellness programs thanks to annual grants from the Foundation for Clovis Schools that this year are funding nearly $180,000 in classroom, school and social emotional wellness projects.

Just over $113,000 will go towards projects supporting classroom and school efforts related to literacy, science and technological advancement programs, agricultural development, sensory development, more inclusive physical fitness opportunities, and much more. Over $55,000 is funding social emotional wellness efforts across the district, funded with support from generous community partners like Community Medical Centers and Kaiser Permanente. Nearly $10,000 is funding the Patriots Character and Civic Education Grant which supports the development of citizenship, civic pride and ethical values, and funded in partnership with the Clovis Veterans Memorial District.

For the current 2023-24 school year, the Foundation has awarded 26 grants – 18 classroom grants for rigorous academic projects and interventions, seven grants to support students’ social and emotional wellness, and one grant to support the development of citizenship, patriotism and civic pride.
