2024 Classroom & School Grants Awarded
Thousands of students across Clovis Unified School District – from preschoolers to high school seniors – will be engaging in educational and emotional wellness programs thanks to annual grants from the Foundation for Clovis Schools that this year are funding over $206,000 in classroom, school and social emotional wellness projects.
Just over $122,000 will go towards projects supporting classroom and school efforts related to literacy, culinary education enhancement, science and technological advancement programs, increasing inclusive opportunities, and much more. Over $84,000 is funding social emotional wellness efforts across the district, funded with support from generous community partners like Community Medical Centers and Kaiser Permanente.
For the current 2024-25 school year, the Foundation has awarded 40 grants – 24 classroom grants for rigorous academic projects and interventions, and 16 grants to support students’ social and emotional wellness.
