2024-25 Foundation Highlights

  • Doc Buchanan Leadership Academy

    Provided training and resources to more than 100 district leaders, and now has a dedicated Director of Program Evaluation. This partnership between the Foundation and district is committed to developing strong leaders prepared for the future whose decision-making is grounded in the timeless core values and educational beliefs that have contributed to the district's success over time.
  • 24 Classroom, School and Emotional Wellness Grants

    Provided more than $145,000 to support projects that help teachers innovate in their classrooms. These funds helped support initiatives to enhance science and technological advancement programs, improve literacy and foster a deeper understanding of literature, promote social emotional wellness and much more.
  • 141 New Teacher Grants

    Given to teachers new to the district for the 2024-25 school year. The Foundation for Clovis Schools awarded these teachers with a combined total of $28,200 in New Teacher Grants to help prepare their classrooms to be vibrant learning environments for Clovis Unified students.
  • 16 Students of Promise Scholarships

    Totaling $32,000 encouraged 16 remarkable 11th graders to pursue their goals with a scholarship upon enrollment into post-secondary education.

Donor Impact

Our steadfast community of donors help make the Foundation's work possible. During the 2024-25 school year: 

  • More than $354,000 was invested in students, teachers and leaders across the district classrooms via the Foundation.
  • 295 businesses, individuals, foundations, community groups and CUSD employees made contributions to the Foundation for Clovis Schools.
  • The Foundation managed $124,688 for other programs within Clovis Unified, supporting developmental programs and student transportation.
  • A total of $207,500 was contributed toward the endowment.
