Classroom, School and Emotional Wellness Grants

Each year, the Foundation invites educators across the district to submit proposals for projects that enhance learning in a creative and motivational way.

This builds on a 2017 grant that first introduced video production into the school's Leadership course, giving intermediate students early access to filmmaking opportunities that were previously only available in high school.

"Video production is allowing me to learn how to use equipment I want to have a career in," said an eighth grader in the second year of the class.

According to Reyburn Activities Director and LeadershipNideo Production teacher Kaitlin Kruser, the class has not only benefited the video production students - known as the "Wolfpack Film Crew" -- but it also has had an enormous impact on the entire Reyburn campus.

"We wanted to have something the entire campus participated in to ensure that the sense of community remained regardless of the size of our population," Kruser said. "Being able to include all students and staff from a wide diversity of cultures, backgrounds, involvement and roles on campus and making that into something that is seen by our entire Wolfpack family is unique and something we are incredibly proud of."

The Wolfpack Film Crew produces weekly "Pack Pride News" episodes and special-edition videos highlighting clubs, athletics, performing arts and more. Their work earned honors at the Slick Rock Film Festival, with 25 students receiving Premier Cut designation, 10 Top Nominees and two category winners.
