2024-25 Foundation Highlights

2025-26 Foundation Highlights

Investing in our schools today for a stronger community tomorrow. The Foundation supports four main programs.

Doc Buchanan Leadership Academy

Provided training and resources to over 500 district leaders and incorporated the leadership, organizational culture and history curriculum into dozens of existing professional development opportunities across the district. This partnership between the Foundation and district is committed to developing strong, future-ready leaders whose decisions are grounded in the timeless values and educational beliefs that have long contributed to the district’s success.

29 Classroom, School and Emotional Wellness Grants

Provided over $188,000 to support projects that help teachers innovate in their classrooms. These funds made it possible to support initiatives that encourage hands-on learning in STEM, strengthen literacy and literary understanding, improve speech, promote social-emotional wellness, and so much more.

170 New Teacher Grants

Given to teachers new to the district. The Foundation for Clovis Schools awarded new teachers a combined $33,760 in New Teacher Grants to help equip their classrooms with resources that foster vibrant and engaging learning experiences for Clovis Unified students.

16 Students of Promise Scholarships

Totaling $32,000 supported 16 remarkable 11th graders to continue toward their goals with a scholarship upon enrollment into post-secondary education.
